Thank you for your interest in Irvine Adult School. All students will need to complete the following steps in order to register for classes at Irvine Adult School.
Placement Testing Process:
- In order to register for ANY class at Irvine Adult School all students must complete a placement test.
- Students need to bring government issued ID (driver’s license, passport, green card) to register and take a placement test
- Placement testing will take place on August 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, and 9th from 9am-11am and 1-3pm in room N24.
- Assessments are administered on a first come, first serve basis during the time frame listed
After completing registration and placement testing, each student will be given a randomly generated number to return for registration

**For continuing students from 2016-2017, to pre-test in August you MUST have taken the end of semester test in May 2017

Registration:
- Registration will take place on August 14th, 15th, 18th, and 22nd
- #1-100 will be from 8am to 11am
- #101-150 will be from 1pm to 3pm
- 150 students will be registered each day based on the Random Number given at placement testing
- You must register for a “CORE” English learner course based on your placement test
- Only students enrolled in the “CORE” English learner course can enroll in the “Conversation Lab” course
